For every dollar donated to Second Harvest, $.97 goes directly to providing meals and distributing food to our agencies in Nodaway County.

Support from your United Way pays monthly Lifeline lease payments for 13 needy Nodaway County subscribers for a full year.

Funding allows Northwest Missouri Literacy programs to help Nodaway County citizens earn up to 40% more through GED and reading/writing improvement classes.

With support provided by United Way of Nodaway County, the Senior Center was able to create and deliver 33,585 Meals-on-Wheels meals to 130 residents throughout the county who are disabled and/or home bound and may not otherwise receive a nutritious meal.

Funds provided by United Way of Nodaway County bought cots, pediatric defibrillators, thermometers, equipment and other supplies for each of the Nodaway County school nurses.
